Our first experiment will be a comparison of Liquid Co2 vs Pressurized Co2.

 

Our goal is to get a visual representation over time of which plants grow faster and which may appear to be healthier. We're using Cyrptocoryne Wendtti and Staurogyne Repens.

 

Test variables:

 Left Aquarium - Liquid Co2 (Api Co2 Booster - 1ml weekly)

 

 Right Aquarium - Pressuraized Co2 (Fluval Co2 20g system - We're dosing twice daily, filling the bottom and top chamber on the first dose and just the bottom chamber on the second.

 

Constant:

 Both Aquariums are being fed a mixture of API Leaf Zone and Flourish Trace twice a week (we've split the dosage in half).

 Both aquariums are being heated by 50watt heaters - the ambient temperature around the aquarium doesn't change much so we're not concerned about heating. The tanks maintain a temp of around 77 degrees.

 Both aquariums are being filtered by HOB Tetra Filters.
